MISSION AND HISTORY
We are a Non Profit Organization based in Belhar, Cape Town, and was founded on April 25, 2017. It is the objective of 'Hope For The Community'
to uplift and empower our community through skills development, clothing distribution when available, marriage and trauma counselling, burial assistance to members of the community who are NOT members of any SPECIFIC church, and soup kitchen facilities.
Although we have been founded recently as an organization, our services to the community started ten years ago with soup kitchen facilities and clothing distribution. The new organization is based on a vision that was started by Feroza Viljoen in 2007 in Belhar. It was HER dream to assist in the alleviation of poverty in her community. The voluntary services she provided were in SUCH high demand, that she decided to expand her activities to a non profit organization, in order to make a GREATER impact.
After much consideration and research on NPO's she joined up with Doctor James Linders and his wife Sheila Linders, who are BOTH non profit organization and business administrative professionals. Dr. Linders comes from a community upliftment background and has founded two NPOs over the past 7 years, both in South Africa, Kenya AND Pakistan. His wife Sheila comes from a business administrative background and is academically well qualified in the same.

James Linders has been elected as the FIRST chairman of our organization, and is spiritually, socially AND academically WELL equipped to make the required IMPACT to uplift and empower our community and to establish our organization.
